Purpose:

To develop a large sub-station connected to the high-voltage (HV) electricity transmission network in Central Queensland, facilitating the integration of electricity generated from the 100MW Lilyvale Solar Farm into the grid.

Scope of Work:

Exacto Projects was tasked with the construction and completion of the Lilyvale Bundoora Switchyard. This involved building the necessary infrastructure to connect the sub-station to the HV electricity transmission network, enabling the efficient transmission of electricity from the solar farm to the grid.​

Project Overview:

The Lilyvale Bundoora Switchyard project, located in Tieri, Queensland, was crucial for integrating renewable energy into Central Queensland's electricity grid. Completed for Power Link under UGL, Exact Projects developed a large sub-station designed to handle the high-voltage transmission of electricity generated by the 100MW Lilyvale Solar Farm.
